What to do

  3. Select your role from the dropdown (e.g. Print/Online Reporter, Photographer, Broadcast Journalist).
  4. Enter your media house name and contact details.
  5. Provide an emergency contact name and phone number.
  6. Click “Continue” when all required fields are complete.

What to do

  4. Once uploaded, each item will show a green “✓ Uploaded” status.
  5. Click “Review Application” to proceed.

Review & submit

Carefully review all your information. If anything is incorrect, click 'Back' to make corrections.
What to do
  1. Carefully review all your information — category, personal details, and documents.
  2. If anything is wrong, click “Back” to return and correct it.
  3. Read the declaration statement.
  4. Tick the checkbox to confirm your information is accurate.
  5. Click “Submit application”.
  6. You will see a confirmation with your reference number (e.g. ACC-2026-XXXXX). Save this number!

After submission

Your application enters the review queue. You will receive email updates as your status changes.
What happens next
  1. Review: Your application is reviewed by the Accreditation Committee.
  2. Notifications: You receive email updates at each stage of the review.
  3. Badge production: Once approved, your badge is produced with your photo, category colour, zone access, and QR code.
  4. Collection:Collect your badge from the Accreditation Centre at the venue. Bring your original ID and reference number.

Application statuses

PENDINGApplication submitted and awaiting review.
APPROVEDApproved — your badge will be produced.
REJECTEDRejected. You can appeal within 5 working days by email.
RETURNEDReturned for corrections. Update the required fields and re-submit.

Track your application anytime by visiting fasigms.africa, scrolling to the “Track Your Application” section and entering your reference number (ACC-2026-XXXXX) or registered email address.

Important notes
  • Media applicants apply directly through the portal — no National Federation registration is needed.
  • Rejected applications can be appealed within 5 working days by emailing the accreditation office with additional documentation.
  • Providing false information may result in revocation of accreditation.
  • All accreditation decisions are final.
